Nourish, Replenish, Thrive.
Welcome! My name is Liz Elmquist and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Mexico, specializing in supporting individuals through major life transitions.
My work focuses on providing support around perinatal/reproductive mental health, navigating infertility, transitioning to parenthood, adjusting to a new medical diagnosis, living with a cancer diagnosis or other serious illness, caregiver support, grief/loss, and end of life care.
I have completed extensive training in holistic perinatal care with specialized training in the postpartum period and am Certified in Perinatal Mental Health. I am a registered Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) Facilitator. Additionally, my many years of working in oncology and palliative care in a hospital-based setting informs my passion for reducing suffering for individuals/caregivers confronting a serious or terminal illness.
I offer compassionate & holistic mental health care tailored to each individual and take pride in listening deeply to those I have the honor of serving as a therapist. I believe in utilizing a collaborative approach to help you reach your goals and to empower you to be the person you want to be, as you confront the challenges in your life. I consider it a privilege to be alongside you in your journey!
** I am currently only accepting Traditional Medicare and Private Pay clients and am seeing clients both in-person & via Telehealth. I am in the process of credentialing with Medicaid and once complete, I will credential with Presbyterian insurance. **
